2022 marks PressBox’s sixth annual Best Of edition celebrating the top people, performances and moments of the year.
Best Feel-Good Moment
In the box score, it was recorded as three goals allowed and three saves in 16:54 of playing time in a blowout win. But it was significantly more than that. Stevenson lacrosse goalie Henry Jones (Calvert Hall) made his college debut on April 20, exactly two years to the day that his mother died. Jones said it created a new way for him to reflect on the date. “For the rest of my life, I’m going to remember this night instead of that day,” he said.
