2022 marks PressBox’s sixth annual Best Of edition celebrating the top people, performances and moments of the year.
Best Goal
We’re not sure if we could accomplish any of the feats we write about in the Best Of issue, but we definitely can’t do this one. Midfielder Malcolm Johnston connected on a bicycle kick when the Maryland men’s soccer team visited Rutgers in early October, part of a 3-2 win for the Terps. Stefan Copetti and Nick Richardson assisted on the goal. Come to think of it, we don’t even know if we could figure out how to kick a soccer ball while on a bicycle.
