2022 marks PressBox’s sixth annual Best Of edition celebrating the top people, performances and moments of the year.
Best Haircut
Sykesville native Brandon Copeland (Gilman) told PressBox that it was a “dream come true” to return home and play for the Ravens this season, even if the stint proved brief. His late sack of Mac Jones in the Ravens’ September win at the Patriots was significant beyond clinching a win. A Ravens fan named Blake Ramey had jokingly tweeted that he’d shave his head if Copeland recorded a sack, and Copeland (along with Calais Campbell) helped raise more than $20,000 for charity to see Ramey go through with it.
