2022 marks PressBox’s sixth annual Best Of edition celebrating the top people, performances and moments of the year.
Best In-Season Acquisition
When reports surfaced of Bears linebacker Roquan Smith requesting a trade back in August, Ravens fans were of course interested but thought the price might prove too much. The Ravens made a bold move in late October, shipping a second- and fifth-round pick to Chicago for the All-Pro. The trade paid immediate dividends, with Smith recording 37 tackles (four for loss) and two sacks in his first five games in purple.
