2022 marks PressBox’s sixth annual Best Of edition celebrating the top people, performances and moments of the year.

It’s hard to imagine the NFL had much debate about its selection for September’s AFC Offensive Player of the Month. In three games, Lamar Jackson accumulated 992 total yards and 12 touchdowns. He accounted for a staggering 85.4 percent of the Ravens’ total offense during that stretch. And in the process he became the first quarterback to ever throw for three touchdowns and run for 100 yards in back-to-back games.
