Basketball teams always ask their stars to step up in the final moments … but twice in the final 10 seconds of an elimination game? That was no problem for Navy guard Jennifer Coleman in the Patriot League quarterfinals against top-seeded Holy Cross. Coleman hit a 3-pointer to tie the game at 47 with six seconds left in regulation, only to hit another 3-pointer as time expired to give the Mids a 50-49 victory. She banked in the game-winner … from the corner.
