2022 marks PressBox’s sixth annual Best Of edition celebrating the top people, performances and moments of the year.
Best Program Builder
Newly retired Janine Tucker spent 29 years as the head coach of the Johns Hopkins women’s lacrosse program, compiling a career mark of 313-180 overall and 245-164 in Division I. She made 10 trips the NCAA Tournament at the Division I level and four appearances at the Division III level. The Blue Jays made the jump from Division III in 1999, and there was no one better to lead the charge than the relentlessly energetic and positive Tucker.
