2022 marks PressBox’s sixth annual Best Of edition celebrating the top people, performances and moments of the year.
Best Record-Breaker
Scott Milanovich put together a standout career at Maryland from 1992-1995, but his passing records (7,301 yards and 49 touchdowns) stood for … way too long. We were often reminded of that when the Terps were cycling through quarterbacks. Taulia Tagovailoa put an end to all of that. He broke both Milanovich records late in the 2022 season and sits as the program’s all-time leading passer in yards (7,658) and touchdowns (50) entering the Duke’s Mayo Bowl Dec. 30.
