2022 marks PressBox’s sixth annual Best Of edition celebrating the top people, performances and moments of the year.
Best Thrilling Weekend
Johns Hopkins’ Homewood Field hosted the NCAA Division I women’s lacrosse championship weekend in May and did it ever deliver. The three games played in the three days were decided by a TOTAL of three goals. Boston College superstar Charlotte North put on a show, scoring 10 goals in two games. But North Carolina, led by head coach Jenny Levy (Roland Park Country School), ultimately won the title in front of a crowd of 8,500 rabid fans.
