2022 marks PressBox’s sixth annual Best Of edition celebrating the top people, performances and moments of the year.

Perhaps the only thing missing from the Ravens’ “And Football” 2022 season trailer video was the incredible Baltimore accent actor Josh Charles got to use when playing Daniel Hersl in HBO’s “We Own This City” earlier in the year. But the video (released in early September) had just about everything else, including “Real Fan Dan,” putting a purple spin on the iconic “crab cakes and football, that’s what Maryland does” quote from “Wedding Crashers.”
