2022 marks PressBox’s sixth annual Best Of edition celebrating the top people, performances and moments of the year.
Best Two-Part Game
This had to be the first championship-clinching game that lasted … a month? The Towson men’s basketball team’s Jan. 27 game against Delaware was suspended with 18:42 remaining in regulation due to court conditions at SECU Arena with the Blue Hens up, 38-29. The game was picked back up on Feb. 28. The Tigers outscored the Hens, 40-19, after play resumed for a 69-57 win to clinch the CAA regular-season title on their home court.
