2022 marks PressBox’s sixth annual Best Of edition celebrating the top people, performances and moments of the year.
Best Well-Deserved Recognition
In November, Maryland Sports executive director Terry Hasseltine was recognized as the state’s “Tourism Person of the Year” at the Maryland Travel & Tourism Summit in Ocean City. Hasseltine took on the role in 2008, working to attract events to and manage events in the state from the youth to college to pro levels and beyond. The Maryland 5 Star was also recognized as “Best Product/Event Award Large Category.”
