During his introductory news conference in November 2018, Orioles general manager Mike Elias stated his goal was to “build an elite talent pipeline.” Now in his fifth year as GM, Elias has the consensus top farm system in baseball. Elias and his staff have built the pipeline with a wide range of players, from top-five draft picks to undrafted free-agent signings to amateur international signings.
