Baltimore Municipal Golf Corporation (BMGC), also known as Baltimore’s Classic Five, will host the 2023 Two-Man Team Championships at tournament-tested Mount Pleasant Golf Course. The Championship is a 36-hole better ball of two competition over two days, June 3-4.
The event is competed at scratch within two flights (Championship Flight and Senior Flight). To compete in the Senior Flight, both members of the team must have reached their 55th birthday no later than Friday, June 2, 2023. Open to all amateur golfers regardless of affiliation. Historically, most competitors have a handicap of 10 or better. Any questions concerning eligibility are referred to Ed Miller, Tournament Chairman, at (410) 254-5100.
Pairings for the final round will be based on Saturday’s scores. Gift Certificates and trophies will be awarded to the champions. Additional prizes will be determined by the final size of the field.
The entry fee for the Two-Man event is $325.00 per team and includes greens fees and carts, prizes, hors’derves and two (2) drinks after final round. The event will be held rain or shine and the field is limited to 80 teams, with starting time requests being honored by a date entry received basis. Entries must be received by 5PM on Sunday, May 28th or when filled. No refunds after May 29th. No exceptions.
