I’m going to list my favorite plays for today’s slate of games. Things are always subject to change due to players sitting or games even being postponed. Make sure you are paying attention to any and all late-breaking news, and try to use common sense if a point spread moves up or down. The plays I LOVE are my top plays for the slate. 1-2 ATS yesterday
Orioles-Guardians over 9 — I know our Birds have been struggling with the bats here recently, but I think they can get to Cal Quantrill. When we look at Cleveland, the Guardians don’t have a ton of power, but they make up for some of that by stealing bases, being patient at the plate and they strike out the least in baseball. I think we see runs. Take the over.
Braves-Athletics under 8.5 — It’s tough taking unders on the A’s, but we have two solid pitchers. Bryce Elder should be able to dominate this A’s team. I think JP Sears can limit the damage here. Take the under.
Twins -115 Astros — I’m rolling with the better pitcher in this spot. Joe Ryan is established and I think he can manage his way through this Astros lineup. Brandon Bielak for the Astros has a bright future, but I like this Twins lineup against him. They are getting healthy. Could possibly have MaxKepler, Byron Buxton and Jorge Polanco back tonight. Take the Twins.
