I’m going to list my favorite plays for today’s slate of games. Things are always subject to change due to players sitting or games even being postponed. Make sure you are paying attention to any and all late-breaking news, and try to use common sense if a point spread moves up or down. The plays I LOVE are my top plays for the slate. Whether you fade or follow, good luck!
I just created my own site, Conncretelocks.com, where you will find my daily podcast and my exclusive packages. I’m going to give you a few plays I like and a writeup on each pick on an everyday basis moving forward. I hope you win some money, whether you fade or play.
2-1 ATS yesterday. Cubs blew the lead late for our only loss.
Padres -130 Angels — It’s a great pitching matchup and probably the best game of the day to watch. I really like the Padres today. I love the way Joe Musgrove has been pitching. Shohei Ohtani will be pitching for the Angels, and I think the Padres’ patience at the plate is going to drive up the pitch count.
Phillies-Rays under 8 — Zach Eflin against his former team. Eflin has been pitching great all season for the Rays, and let’s be honest, this Phillies offense can be a little Jekyll and Hyde. Aaron Nola grades out as the number one pitcher in the slate even in a tough matchup. Take the under.
White Sox-Blue Jays over 8.5 — This is another good pitching matchup, but I like the bats here. Lucas Giolito vs. Chris Chris Bassitt, and I think both of these guys are really good, but it’s hard to get away from the over in this game. Bassitt is coming off of a 12-strikeout outing, and I think the White Sox get to him. Also I love the way the Jays have been swinging the bats.
