I’m going to list my favorite plays for today’s slate of games. Things are always subject to change due to players sitting or games even being postponed. Make sure you are paying attention to any and all late-breaking news, and try to use common sense if a point spread moves up or down. The plays I LOVE are my top plays for the slate. Whether you fade or follow, good luck!
1-1-1 ATS yesterday,
Cubs-Yankees over 8.5 — Very hot and humid day in New York, so the ball will carry. I love this spot for runs to be scored. Domingo German, who can get easily blown up, vs. Kyle Hendricks, who is a soft tosser. Take the over.
Cardinals-White Sox over 9 — Cardinals bats have looked better recently, although the team still stinks. They get Lucas Giolito, and the White Sox will get a bullpen game most likely from the Cardinals. The weather is great for an over, and I like Paul Goldschmidt and Luis Robert Jr. to go yard.
Brewers -125 Reds — Great spot for the Brewers bats against Ben Lively. I’m not a big fan of Wade Miley, but I think he can keep this Reds team guessing as to what junk he’s throwing up there. He can get the soft contact to get out of jams. Love the Brewers bats here.
