Jeremy Conn’s Plays Of The Day: July 16, 2023

I’m going to list my favorite plays for today’s slate of games. Things are always subject to change due to players sitting or games even being postponed. Make sure you are paying attention to any and all late-breaking news, and try to use common sense if a point spread moves up or down. The plays I LOVE are my top plays for the slate. Whether you fade or follow, good luck!

3-0 ATS yesterday.

Twins-Athletics under 8 — We get the top pitcher on today’s slate facing the worst offensive team in the league. Joe Ryan shouldn’t have any problem with the A’s offense. JP Sears is actually a solid pitcher, and I’m not afraid of this Twins offense. Take the under.

Brewers-Reds over 10.5 – I think this will end up being the highest-scoring game of the day. I expect the Reds to destroy an extreme ground ball pitcher like Adrian Houser. The Brewers’ lineup should have no problem with Ben Lively either. Great weather for hitting.

Orioles-Marlins over 8.5 — It looks like we might get some sort of bullpen game from the Marlins, and depending on how far Kyle Bradish can go in the game, the Orioles used their best bullpen arms on Friday and Saturday. We will have phenomenal home run weather after the rain clears.
