I’m going to list my favorite plays for today’s slate of games. Things are always subject to change due to players sitting or games even being postponed. Make sure you are paying attention to any and all late-breaking news, and try to use common sense if a point spread moves up or down. The plays I LOVE are my top plays for the slate. Whether you fade or follow, good luck!
1-2 ATS yesterday.
Orioles -120 Dodgers — The O’s are on a heater right now and they get the Dodgers after a trip to New York and L.A. is throwing Emmet Sheehan. I’m not sure what to think about him. The Pirates beat him up in his last start. He had two good starts before that, including one at Coors field. The Orioles called up Grayson Rodriguez for this start, and I think he pitches well tonight. Birds win!
Reds-Giants over 10 — Some people will be scared off by the number because Logan Webb is pitching in this game. I love the power from both teams in this matchup, and I believe the Reds will score runs tonight against Webb. This game has the best hitting weather on the slate. Take the over.
Rays-Rangers over 8.5 — I like both teams to score runs. The Rays have Shane McClanahan going and he’s great, but I think the Texas bats will make him work and the Rays are coming off of a series where they used a lot of their bullpen with a doubleheader on Saturday and a crazy game yesterday. The Rays get Dane Dunning, and he’s solid but not spectacular. I like runs here, so take the over.
