I’m going to list my favorite plays for today’s slate of games. Things are always subject to change due to players sitting or games even being postponed. Make sure you are paying attention to any and all late-breaking news, and try to use common sense if a point spread moves up or down. The plays I LOVE are my top plays for the slate. Whether you fade or follow, good luck!

0-3 ATS yesterday. Very frustrating day with Alex Cobb getting scratched late to losing by a half a run in the Brewers game.

Rockies-Padres over 12.5 — This is the nuts spot of the day. Great hitting weather, high altitude and two below-average pitchers. You will hear me talk about great hitting weather and it will be raining, just like tonight at Coors Field. In the summer you can see the humidity go up after a storm. Wind and heat can also have a huge impact on hitting weather. This is a great spot to take the over.

Mets-Royals over 9.5 — Another great spot for hitting. Jose Quintana has been decent this year, but I like the way the Royals have been swinging the bats, especially Bobby Witt Jr. The Mets get Zack Greinke, and he’s not striking anyone out. Take the over.

Yankees -110 Rays — I really like the way Carlos Rodon pitched in his last start, and I think he builds on it here against the Rays. The Yankees will face Zach Eflin, and he’s having a really nice year. The Yankees’ backs are against the wall and they need to string together some wins to get out of last place. I like this spot for New York.
