I’m going to list my favorite plays for today’s slate of games. Things are always subject to change due to players sitting or games even being postponed. Make sure you are paying attention to any and all late-breaking news, and try to use common sense if a point spread moves up or down. The plays I LOVE are my top plays for the slate. 2-1 ATS yesterday.
Astros-Yankees over 9 — Great hitting weather in this game, and with Yordan Alvarez and Aaron Judge back I like both of these offenses today. I would lean more to the Yankees though; they get Cristian Javier and he is a big fly ball pitcher. The Astros will get Clarke Schmidt and he has been better, but I still think both teams score to get it over the total.
Mets-Royals over 9 — We get good hitting weather in this game and a terrible pitching matchup. I think the Royals get after Carlos Carrasco and score a bunch of runs on the Mets. And with the Royals’ pitching staff, the Mets should have no issue getting after them. Take the over.
Diamondbacks -110 Giants — This is virtually a pick-’em game and everyone is betting the Giants. I don’t get it personally, they are both good teams. The Giants are going with a bullpen game. I actually like the Diamondbacks’ pitcher, Brandon Pfaadt. He just has to stop nibbling when he gets ahead of hitters.
