I’m going to list my favorite plays for today’s slate of games. Things are always subject to change due to players sitting or games even being postponed. Make sure you are paying attention to any and all late-breaking news, and try to use common sense if a point spread moves up or down. The plays I LOVE are my top plays for the slate. 1-1 ATS yesterday. The Phillies’ game was rained out yesterday.
Angels -110 Giants — The Angels haven’t won since the trade deadline. They are 0-7 and haven’t looked good at all. Why am I betting on them? It’s a great spot, and we are getting some value in Lucas Giolito. He got blown up by the Braves in his first start. There are lots of strikeouts in that Giants lineup. Take the Angels.
Astros -140 Orioles — I think this game goes under as well, but I love this spot for the Astros. Grayson Rodriguez has been fantastic for the Orioles, but the Orioles are a bottom 10 team against left-handed pitching. In my opinion they get the best lefty in the AL tonight in Framber Valdez. I think this is a great spot for the Astros.
Yankees-White Sox over 9 — I love this spot for bats. Aaron Judge is +195 on FanDuel to homer today and I’m betting it. Touki Toussaint walks way too many guys, and with the Yankees’ power, I think this spells doom. Clarke Schmidt is pitching for the Yankees and the Sox should be able to scratch out a few against him. Great weather as well. Take the over.
