I’m going to list my favorite plays for today’s slate of games. Things are always subject to change due to players sitting or games even being postponed. Make sure you are paying attention to any and all late-breaking news, and try to use common sense if a point spread moves up or down. The plays I LOVE are my top plays for the slate. 2-1 ATS yesterday.
Giants -120 Rangers — I love this spot for the Giants and Alex Cobb. Cobb looks great this season. He’s keeping his ERA down and getting a lot of soft contact and swings and misses with his split finger. There’s lots of power on the Giants side too, and they will take on Andrew Heaney.
Athletics-Nationals over 9.5 — Phenomenal hitting weather and we get two subpar pitchers as well. Jake Irvin has had his struggles this year, and Luis Medina loses the strike zone way too much. I think this game ends up being one of the highest-scoring games on the slate. Take the over.
Game 1: Braves-Mets over 10.5 — The hitting weather is going to be great for both games today. But the first game is the one I want to target. We get two pitchers that grade out towards the bottom of my algorithm. Take the over.
