I’m going to list my favorite plays for today’s slate of games. Things are always subject to change due to players sitting or games even being postponed. Make sure you are paying attention to any and all late-breaking news, and try to use common sense if a point spread moves up or down. The plays I LOVE are my top plays for the slate. 2-1 ATS yesterday The Athletics’ bullpen gave up five runs in the 10th and blew a perfect day.
Yankees-Red Sox over 9 — This again is one of my favorite plays today. I love the over here. We have great weather for home runs and runs to be scored in general. The wind is blowing out at close to 10 mph. Nick Pivetta is slated to work in bulk relief today, and although Pivetta has been better this year, he doesn’t scare me. Take the over.
Guardians -110 Tigers — We get a pitching matchup of Logan Allen and Eduardo Rodriguez. E-Rod has been great this year, but this Guardians lineup is pesky. They don’t strike out a lot, and in my opinion they are just a better overall team. Allen actually grades out higher than Rodriguez in my algorithm. Give me the Guardians.
Braves-Giants over 9 — I think everyone stays away from the over here because Max Fried is pitching for the Braves. There is still a lot of power on this Giants team. I don’t need to tell you about the Braves. They get an opener and then Alex Wood. Take the over.
