I’m going to list my favorite plays for today’s slate of games. Things are always subject to change due to players sitting or games even being postponed. Make sure you are paying attention to any and all late-breaking news, and try to use common sense if a point spread moves up or down. The plays I LOVE are my top plays for the slate. Mariners -185 White Sox — I don’t usually pick big favorites, especially a big favorite on the road. It’s a small slate and I love the way the Mariners are playing right now. They should be able to beat up Touki Toussaint today and the Mariners have Luis Castillo taking the bump for them today. Take Seattle.
Padres-Marlins over 8.5 — I love this spot for the Padres’ bats. They get Johnny Cueto and they shouldn’t have an issue adding on to his 5.57 ERA. I like the Marlins to score on Michael Wacha as well. This is his second start off the IL. Take the over.
Cubs-Tigers over 9 — Great spot for an over. It checks out with the weather, one of the best hitting spots of the day. We also get two subpar pitchers. Javier Assad will be facing off against Alex Faedo. I think Faedo is getting better, but I still like the Cubs’ bats against him. Take the over.
