I’m going to list my favorite plays for today’s slate of games. Things are always subject to change due to players sitting or games even being postponed. Make sure you are paying attention to any and all late-breaking news, and try to use common sense if a point spread moves up or down. The plays I LOVE are my top plays for the slate. Whether you fade or follow, good luck!
1-2 ATS yesterday.
Cubs-Brewers under 7 — We get a Wrigley wind game with two good pitchers. The wind is blowing in and we have favorable pitching conditions for Justin Steele and Corbin Burnes. This is a great spot for an under. We get a dominant lefty facing the Brewers, and they are terrible against lefties. Burnes can dominate any lineup in this league. Take the under.
Marlins -120 Rays — We get a very good pitching matchup here with Aaron Civale and Sandy Alcantara. I love the way Alcantara has been pitching in the second half of the season. This is plain and simple. I’m fading the early money coming in on the perceived better team. I’ll be betting on the better pitcher who happens to be on the home team. Take the Marlins.
Padres-Cardinals over 9 — In yesterday’s matchup the Padres had 17 baserunners and only managed to score four runs. So frustrating and maybe it wouldn’t have mattered because Blake Snell was so good yesterday. We get another favorable pitching matchup for the hitters today, and I’m going right back to the over.
