I’m going to list my favorite plays for today’s slate of games. Things are always subject to change due to players sitting or games even being postponed. Make sure you are paying attention to any and all late-breaking news, and try to use common sense if a point spread moves up or down. The plays I LOVE are my top plays for the slate. Whether you fade or follow, good luck!
1-2 yesterday ATS.
Rockies-Blue Jays over 12 — I say it all the time: Great Weather, subpar pitching and Coors Field is always a great combination for an over play. I love this spot. I think the righties in the Jays’ lineup destroy Chris Flexen. I think Hyun Jin Ryu is a really good pitcher, but he has been very lucky so far and his ERA will be going up after this start. Take the over.
Braves-Dodgers under 8.5 — This will be the best series of the weekend. We get a great pitching matchup with Max Fried and Julio Urías. The weather gives a lean to the under as well. Fried gets a ton of ground balls and Urías can be dominant. Love the under.
Hawaii +3 Stanford — The more I look at this game, I keep feeling like it’s a trap. Hawaii has already played a game and now they get to come home. We all know what’s going on there with the wildfires and I’m not trying to use that, but they could use a distraction and they get one with a nationally televised game. Take the Warriors.
