I’m going to list my favorite plays for today’s slate of games. Things are always subject to change due to players sitting or games even being postponed. Make sure you are paying attention to any and all late-breaking news, and try to use common sense if a point spread moves up or down. The plays I LOVE are my top plays for the slate. Lions-Chiefs under 54 — I know everything points to a shootout in this game, but I’m still feeling an under. I think both teams will put a huge effort forward in running the ball and keeping the other team off the field. The Lions should be able to run the ball with David Montgomery and Jahmyr Gibbs. I’m playing the under.
Cubs-Diamondbacks under 8.5 — We have another wind game at Wrigley, but this time it’s blowing in and the temps are cooler. We have a suspect pitching matchup and that’s why everyone is betting the over. Yes, we could get nickel and dimed to death by these offenses, but I don’t think that’s likely. Take the under.
David Montgomery over 53.5 rushing yards — I explained this above. This will be the best offensive line Montgomery has played behind. The Chiefs are missing their best player on defense. I love this spot for Montgomery to go over his rushing prop. Honestly, if he gets the touches, then he will hit this in the third quarter.
