I’m going to list my favorite plays for today’s slate of games. Things are always subject to change due to players sitting or games even being postponed. Make sure you are paying attention to any and all late-breaking news, and try to use common sense if a point spread moves up or down. The plays I LOVE are my top plays for the slate. Tough one yesterday and not a lot of great spots today but here are my three favorites.
Orioles-Rays under 8.5 — My favorite play today. It’s a great spot for an under as these two teams battle for the division lead. The weather favors the under with the wind blowing in at 10 mph and cooler conditions tonight in Baltimore. We get a good pitching matchup too with Kyle Bradish and Aaron Civale. Take the under.
Mets-Diamondbacks under 7.5 — Another great weather spot with swirling winds that are blowing in some as well. We get cooler conditions here as well, but I love the pitching matchup. Merrill Kelly has been great for the Diamondbacks this year and Kodai Senga has been sensational at home. Take the under.
Eagles -6.5 Vikings — This is a tough game and I’ve gone back and forth quite a bit on this one. I lean under, but it’s such a weird spot. The Eagles are missing a bunch of pieces in their secondary and are going up against a team that threw it 75 percent of the game in Week 1. It’s a short week for Minnesota with travel. The Eagles should have no problem with this Vikings defense. Give me Philly.
