Joe Serpico shares his top fantasy football waiver-wire pickups heading into Week 3.

Jared Goff, QB, Detroit Lions: The Lions are no joke and Goff is the underrated piece who is making this offense churn. He threw a pick-six but was otherwise extremely efficient, throwing for 323 yards and three touchdowns. If you lost Aaron Rodgers or Anthony Richardson to injury, Goff is someone you can rely on as the schedule in the upcoming weeks is promising.

Jordan Love, QB, Green Bay Packers: It’s only been two games, but did the Packers strike gold once again at QB? Love has thrown three touchdowns in his first two outings, and what made this week’s performance impressive is that the offense remained on schedule despite the absences of Aaron Jones, Christian Watson and David Bakhtiari.

Kyren Williams, RB, Los Angeles Rams: The Cam Akers saga in LA has reared its head again as he was a healthy inactive this week, and it’s been reported he’s on the trade block. Williams led the Rams in snaps in Week 1 and was the only running back to get a carry this week. He’s scored twice in each of the first two games and had a whopping 10 targets. He’s my priority add at running back this week.

Zack Moss, RB, Indianapolis Colts: Moss also was the only running back on his team to garner a touch, and as long as Jonathan Taylor is out of the lineup, this is Moss’ backfield. Taylor’s future with the team makes me a little hesitant to make Moss a must-add, but the Colts have an enticing matchup next week against the Texans, which makes Moss a RB2/FLEX play.

Matt Breida, RB, New York Giants: You’ve got to feel sorry for the running back position. Last week, we saw J.K. Dobbins suffer a season-ending injury in a contract year. Saquon Barkley left the Giants’ win late in the fourth and was visibly upset on the sideline. Let’s hope for good news for Barkley, but if he’s going to miss time, Breida is next in line. Don’t rule out the Giants giving Kareem Hunt or Leonard Fournette a call as well.

Puka Nacua, WR, Los Angeles Rams: A player who was featured last week, Nacua has had the best two-game start of any receiver in league history. He’s caught 25 passes in two games. It’s clear Nacua is Matthew Stafford’s top target while Cooper Kupp is out. Nacua needs to not only be rostered but inserted into your starting lineup.

Nico Collins, WR, Houston Texans: The Texans are going to be trailing a lot this season and Collins will see a ton of targets as a result. He saw nine targets this week after garnering 11 in Week 1. Touchdowns will be hard to come by as the Texans are one of the worst teams in the league, but if Collins is going to continuously see near double-digit targets, he’s going to be a decent FLEX play.

Zach Ertz, TE, Arizona Cardinals: Guess which tight end leads the position in targets after two weeks? I’m still amazed he’s back on the field so quickly after a major knee injury last November, and even more surprised he’s been such a focal point of the Cardinals’ offense. I had him as a fringe TE1 after Week 1, but if this kind of usage continues, he’s a must start each week.
