I’m going to list my favorite plays for today’s slate of games. Things are always subject to change due to players sitting or games even being postponed. Make sure you are paying attention to any and all late-breaking news, and try to use common sense if a point spread moves up or down. The plays I LOVE are my top plays for the slate. Oregon State -4 Utah — I really do like this Utah team, but I think this is a terrible spot for them tonight. It’s a nationally televised game and I believe Oregon State shows out tonight. I love Oregon State running back Damien Martinez. He averages more than 100 yards a game. Oregon State is coming off a really tough loss to Washington State last week and I think the Beavers will bounce back here. My favorite play today.
Orioles-Red Sox under 8.5 — Another good weather spot for an under and we get a pretty good pitching matchup tonight as well. Nick Pivetta takes the bump for the Sox and John Means will go for the Orioles. Both pitchers grade out in my top five today and Means is the top pitcher on the slate in my algorithm. The Orioles partied hard last night and I think we see both pitchers pitch well today. Take the under.
Reds-Cardinals under 9 — It’s not a great pitching matchup. We get Brandon Williamson and Jake Woodford. The weather supports an under here and I don’t think we see much action on offense here today. I really like this spot for an under.
