Apologies to regular readers of the weekly power rankings, now in their 13th season. So far this season, I’ve made two decisions that impacted the consistency and regularity these rankings have offered since they began. With the season starting on a Thursday and my doing comments on all 30 teams a few days earlier, I felt that comments at the beginning of the second week was kind of superfluous.

But, when I made that decision, I had not thought through this third week properly. I have been up in Brooklyn for a family wedding. That hasn’t allowed me to properly watch games this weekend and really hone in on the nuances I share in creating my weekly power rankings.

So the power rankings with a proper open and comments on my top 10 will appear soon.

For now I leave you with the rankings sans comments.
