Orioles Parlay of the Day: Gunnar Henderson to record 2+ bases + Bobby Witt Jr. to record 2+ bases + Salvador Perez to record a hit + over 8.5 runs scored.
The AL’s young superstar shortstops have been two of the premier hitters in baseball to start the season. Perez went 6-for-12 against the Orioles in their first series and hit .320 with a 1.146 OPS against them in 2023. Dean Kremer and Alec Marsh will have their work cut out for them against two hot young lineups, which should lead to 7 or more runs allowed combined between the starters. The Royals’ bullpen has been a weak spot and the O’s have made bullpens pay this year.
NBA
Trey Murphy III over 3.5 threes made.
Murphy has made at least three threes in seven straight games against the Kings and has shot well as of late, making 23-of-49 threes in his last five games. With Zion Williamson out, Murphy will see an uptick in minutes and get more catch-and-shoot opportunities with CJ McCollum and Brandon Ingram taking more primary ball handler responsibility. Murphy is also +350 to have the most threes made in the game.
Coby White over 2.5 threes made.
White has crossed this mark in six straight against the Heat with strong volume for this mark.

This should be about even money. Murphy and McCollum get elite three point volume with increased usage in the absence of Zion Williamson. In 2023 against the Warriors, De’Aron Fox showed a strong propensity to get three point volume and I expect that to continue against the Pelicans, who should be weary of the Kings interior presence without Williamson.
