Holliday’s confidence is sky high. The youngest player to ever hit a home run in three straight games gets Kevin Gausman, who has been getting shelled for two months now. Holliday has elite EV and hard hit percentage. Gausman has been allowing hard hit balls and high average EV at a rate among the worst starters in baseball. He really only throws two pitches right now. With his home run at nearly 7/1 and his three hits + runs + RBI at 2/1, which he’s done in all but one game since being recalled, we’re going to ride Holliday until the wheels fall off … or at least until Vegas stops giving us 7/1.
