2024 marks PressBox’s eighth annual Best Of edition celebrating the top people, performances and moments of the year.
Best Goal
A pole goal is one of the most electric plays in lacrosse, but a game-winning pole goal in the waning moments of overtime takes it to another level.
Loyola defenseman Remi Reynolds pulled off the feat in an 11-10 win against Towson in February, picking up a ground ball and sprinting down the field to fire home the game-winner with 0.6 seconds left in the first overtime session.
It was the only goal Reynolds scored all year. Talk about making your goal count.
