Best High School Boys’ Coach
It’s often said that it’s difficult to follow legendary coaches because the expectations are so high.
Severna Park boys’ lacrosse coach Bob Zichelli knows all about that after succeeding Dave Earl. The Falcons had won seven straight state championships, six with Earl at the helm.
All Zichelli did was lead Severna Park to an eighth consecutive title and 13th overall. The Falcons went 19-1 overall, capping off the season with an 8-6 win against Towson in the Class 3A title game.
