2024 marks PressBox’s eighth annual Best Of edition celebrating the top people, performances and moments of the year.
Best New Tradition
McDaniel College wrestler Xavier Howard earned All-America honors by finishing eighth in the 157-pound class of the 2024 NCAA Division III Wrestling Championships in March, one year after teammate Thomas Monn did so by finishing sixth in the 149-pound class.
Howard posted a 32-7 overall record as a junior in 2023-24, taking home the 157-pound title in the Blue Jay Classic and Centennial Conference Championships. Who will be the next Green Terror wrestler to earn All-America honors?
