“It’s actually amazing,” Bub Carrington told PressBox in July after being selected by the Wizards with the 14th pick in June’s NBA Draft. Before that, Angel Reese was the seventh overall pick of the Chicago Sky in April’s WNBA Draft and Chris Braswell (57th overall, Tampa Bay Buccaneers) and Blake Corum (83rd overall, LA Rams) were taken on the second night of April’s NFL Draft.
Not bad for a school with 200 students.
