2024 marks PressBox’s eighth annual Best Of edition celebrating the top people, performances and moments of the year.

Navy football was firing on all cylinders in the first half of the 2024 season, and that was evident when the Mids defeated Air Force, 34-7, in October.
Junior slot back Eli Heidenreich was the star of the show, becoming the first player in Navy history to record 100 or more rushing and receiving yards in the same game.
His top highlight was a sensational 25-yard catch in which he dragged his left foot across the turf just before going out of bounds.
