PressBox recently chatted with Towson men’s basketball redshirt senior Nendah Tarke, who dished on his favorite movie of all time, his favorite sports star as a kid and more. The 6-foot-4, 210-pound guard is averaging 10.6 points and 4.7 rebounds per game this season. Tarke is a native of Gaithersburg, Md., and graduate of Bullis School.

PressBox: What’s your favorite pregame meal or snack?
Nendah Tarke: I like pasta.

PB: What’s your favorite “guilty” food?
NT: Chocolate chip cookies, for sure.

PB: What’s your favorite movie of all time?
NT: “The Lion King”

PB: If you could trade places with any movie or TV character, who would it be?
NT: John Wick

PB: What show have you been binging lately?
NT: I just finished a show called “The Vampire Diaries.” It’s kind of old. It’s like my favorite show of all time. It came out in ’09.

PB: Who was your favorite sports star as a kid?
NT: LeBron — still currently.

PB: What was your favorite sports team growing up?
NT: I guess the Wizards. My dad was a big Wizards fan. It was more like Gilbert Arenas, Caron Butler, Antawn Jamison — that time.

PB: Is there an exercise you hate doing?
NT: You name it. Planks, because we do them religiously in practice — there’s something called Copenhagen planks. Any type of single-leg squat, hate it.

PB: What’s your go-to karaoke song?
NT: “Unwritten” by Natasha Bedingfield

PB: What’s the best advice you’ve ever been given?
NT: Be where your feet are.
