The first round of the 2025 NFL Draft is scheduled for this Thursday, April 24, and there is plenty of speculation leading up to draft night. What position will Travis Hunter play in the NFL? How far will Shedeur Sanders fall? How many quarterbacks go in the first round? The fun part of mock draft season is the hype leading up to the first night of the draft.
Every team holds its own first-round pick for the first time since the merger. That is sure to change on April 24, but this mock draft will not include any, locking the Tennessee Titans into the top selection.
The Baltimore Ravens will make another selection in the final spots of the first round with the 27th pick. The Ravens have held the 27th pick twice in previous years, selecting Jimmy Smith in 2011 and Rashod Bateman in 2021.

Notes:
The Ravens beef up their defensive line with the addition of Oregon defensive tackle Derrick Harmon. They hoped Malaki Starks would fall to them, so it hurts to see the Steelers scoop him up. Harmon can contribute immediately at all three positions along Baltimore’s defensive line and be a factor on passing downs.
Biggest Reach: Tyler Warren to Bears
I believe in Warren’s talent. Ben Johnson is an offensive genius. Adding more talent around Caleb Williams makes sense. However, the Chicago defense needs more help than the offense does. All of this can be true.
Best Bargain: Donovan Ezeiruaku to the Buccaneers
The Boston College product is one of my favorite players in this draft class. He is the type of pass rusher Todd Bowles covets.
Ideal Fit: Ashton Jeanty to the Raiders
Pete Carroll loves to pound the football and Jeanty is one of the best running back prospects in recent memory. It’s a match made in heaven.
