Deebo Samuel receptions ladder up to nine receptions.
Samuel is going to the centerpiece of the Commanders offense over the middle of the field. They showed their desired role for him in Week 1, when he was targeted 10 times with seven receptions and given an additional carry which he took to the house. That was all in a game they controlled with a lead from start to finish. Now, on the road against a better defense with a questionable nickel corner presence? I’m not surprised if Samuel finishes with double-digit touches if the Commanders happen to trail late and need to work the two-minute drill. Take him to score a touchdown as well.
Jordan Love rushing yards ladder up to 35 rushing yards.
Last year Love was hurt, but in 2023, his first full season as a starter, he finished with double-digit rushing yards 10 times, including six games over 20. The value is simply too strong at 12/1 on the top end. His line is 5.5 which is a hammer play.
Value menu parlay (must be 20/1 or higher):
Deebo Samuel 8+ receptions + Jordan Love 15+ rushing yards + Jacory Croskey-Merritt 50+ rushing yards. Variation, Love 25+ rushing yards + JCM 70 rushing yards.
Commanders +4.5.
Their quarterback play and balance on both sides of the ball is too good to get blown out. The Packers might be able to get rush on Jayden Daniels, but his escapability is still underrated and his threat in the designed run game keeps the Packers defense honest enough to keep it close. If the Commanders can consistently hit Jordan Love on pass downs, they win.
