2025 marks PressBox’s ninth annual Best Of edition celebrating the top people, performances and moments of the year.

Towson men’s basketball clinched the first outright CAA regular-season title in program history in February with an 88-73 win against William & Mary that featured a 56-point second half from the Tigers.
The 4,750 fans at SECU Arena certainly made themselves heard that night, particularly after each 3-pointer Towson sank to separate from the Tribe late.
“It’s just a great day to be a Towson Tiger,” head coach Pat Skerry said after the game. “We stood up tonight — the crowd, the students, the players, the atmosphere.”
