2025 marks PressBox’s ninth annual Best Of edition celebrating the top people, performances and moments of the year.
Best Explosiveness
Division III is home to quite a few highly productive offenses on the gridiron, and Salisbury football certainly qualifies, averaging 45.3 points per game in 2025.
Sophomore quarterback SyRus McGowan led the way for the Sea Gulls, throwing for 1,842 yards and 19 touchdowns and running for 670 yards and 11 scores.
Junior Darrell Walter added 779 yards and 13 touchdowns on the ground. Seniors Micah Brubaker and Daniel Clark and juniors Dario Belizaire and Mason Fisher all averaged more than 20 yards per catch on double-digit catches.
