2025 marks PressBox’s ninth annual Best Of edition celebrating the top people, performances and moments of the year.
Best Finale
Cedric Mullins hit 101 home runs and stole 139 bases in parts of eight seasons for the Orioles, but the numbers don’t do justice to the moments he created, from the timely hits to the breathtaking home run robberies.
Mullins left fans with one more memory in his final game as an Oriole, robbing Blue Jays catcher Ali Sánchez of a home run. Mullins expertly used the center field wall to help him catch the fly ball at the top of his leap with a backhand snare well above the wall.
Best wishes to the future Orioles Hall of Famer as he continues his career with Tampa Bay.
