Have you ever watched the “Seinfeld” episode where George decides to go out on a high note?
We’re almost positive Katy Kelley didn’t have that episode in mind when stepping down as Broadneck girls’ lacrosse coach, but she definitely went out on a high note after winning a fifth straight Class 4A state championship with the Bruins.
Broadneck (17-3) defeated Urbana, 8-6, in the state title game in May, after which Kelley announced she was stepping aside. Caitlin Gogoll has since taken over the program.
