2025 marks PressBox’s ninth annual Best Of edition celebrating the top people, performances and moments of the year.
Best Hurricane
The Ravens were tied with the Browns in the fourth quarter of a windy November road game and facing a fourth-and-1 from the Cleveland 35.
They eschewed a go-ahead field goal attempt and lined up for their version of a “tush push” with Mark Andrews under center. It’s just that this particular tush-push call had a twist … a literal twist, in fact.
Andrews twisted to his right, broke free and ran in the 35-yard go-ahead touchdown. The play was imagined by head coach John Harbaugh and labeled “Hurricane,” with Andrews proving plenty tall and strong for the call.
