2025 marks PressBox’s ninth annual Best Of edition celebrating the top people, performances and moments of the year.
Best Local Champion
The fifth edition of the Maryland 5 Star was held at the Fair Hill Special Event Zone in Cecil County in October. Swiss rider Felix Vogg claimed the 5 Star title with his horse Cartania, his second career win in a 5 Star event.
But perhaps even more notably, the weekend featured the first-ever win for a Marylander at the event. Monkton’s Isabelle Bosley claimed the event’s 3 Star title with her horse Conner and hopes to return in the future with Conner to compete for the 5 Star crown.
