The Ravens weren’t the only local team that needed to rebound from a 1-5 start.
Towson men’s lacrosse had to do the same. The Tigers reeled off 10 straight wins, four of which came in overtime.
Towson defeated Hofstra and Drexel in the CAA tournament in May to earn its second trip to the NCAA Tournament in as many years. Mikey Weisshaar (48 goals, 24 assists), Ronan Fitzpatrick (43, 11) and Shawn Nadelen took home CAA Offensive Player, Rookie and Co-Coach of the Year honors, respectively.
