2025 marks PressBox’s ninth annual Best Of edition celebrating the top people, performances and moments of the year.
Best Reunion
When Adam Jones was inducted into the Orioles Hall of Fame on Aug. 9, former manager Buck Showalter was on stage to help Jones put on his Hall of Fame jacket as part of the ceremony, a reminder of the partnership the two forged in leading the Orioles to the most wins in the American League from 2012-2016.
Many of Jones’ former teammates were on hand as part of the celebration, including Chris Davis, Tommy Hunter, Jim Johnson, Nick Markakis, Melvin Mora and Bud Norris.
